Notes
Opening plan: Keep an early Goblin, three lands or workable acceleration, and preferably a haste enabler. Goblin Warchief, Goblin Chieftain, Fervor, and your protective Equipment let Krenko contribute sooner; a small board before his first activation makes each later activation more threatening. Counting the mob: Krenko counts Goblins you control as his activated ability resolves, including himself if he is still on the battlefield. Removing him does not counter an activation already on the stack, although it usually reduces the number of tokens created. Tokens without haste can still be sacrificed to Skirk Prospector or Goblin Bombardment immediately. Winning routes: Shared Animosity rewards attacking with many Goblins, while Impact Tremors and Pashalik Mons let you pressure life totals without connecting in combat. Brightstone Ritual and Battle Hymn turn a developed board into a burst of mana, helping deploy several payoffs in the same turn. Resilience: Goblin Matron finds the creature your current position needs, Goblin Ringleader and Muxus rebuild your board, and Skullclamp turns small tokens into cards. Goblin lords can raise a token's toughness enough that Skullclamp no longer kills it automatically; use a sacrifice outlet when necessary, and avoid committing your entire hand into an expected sweeper.
